- ESI conducted a Preliminary Assessment / Site Investigation (PA/SI) at the facility and identified over 16 Areas of Concern (AOCs).
- Investigations identified contaminants in both soil and groundwater requiring remediation.
- Soil remediation consisted of underground storage tank (UST) and impacted soil excavation and off-site disposal. Groundwater remediation is on-going and has consisted of pump-and-dispose.
- Property is currently being redeveloped and returned to productive use.
Project Details
A major pharmaceutical manufacturer ceased operations, triggering the NJDEP ISRA Program. In accordance with the New Jersey Site Remediation Reform Act or SRRA (N.J.S.A. 58:10C-1 et seq.) the company was required to retain a New Jersey LSRP to remediate the property.
