Enviro-Sciences’ Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) have been working in New Jersey, on average, for over 22 years. Our New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) experience dates back to the inception of the initial Environmental Cleanup and Responsibility Act (ECRA), the predecessor of the Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA), which necessitated a major increase in the need for environmental compliance and remediation services. From the beginning, ESI has established close relationships with many key personnel at the NJDEP and developed an intimate understanding of their formal regulatory requirements, as well as the informal means to accomplish client-oriented goals.
What separates ESI’s LSRPs from the pack is our steadfast commitment to provide our clients with the best service possible combined with the expertise of our LSRPs to yield the most technically appropriate, highest quality, timeliest, and cost-effective solutions to your environmental needs. ESI believes there are two types of LSRPs: the first are those that operate by implementing NJDEP regulations and guidance without interpretation; and the second, those that use all the available and applicable LSRP tools including but not limited to professional judgement, multiple lines of evidence, variances from the technical regulations, alternate remedial standards and impracticability for regulatory compliance. ESI’s LSRPs pride themselves on being part of the second group, providing practical application of regulations and professional judgement while protecting human health and the environment.
