Location: Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, Ohio, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
Project Desciption:Lubricants Division Divestiture Project - ESI was retained to conduct 24 Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments to assist a major petrochemical firm during the divestiture of its petroleum refinery, blending and distribution facilities.
ESI worked within a short due diligence period, completing all of the Phase I reports within a four-week period. This evaluation led to the development of soil and groundwater sampling programs (Phase II) for the majority of the sites. These Phase II tasks included collecting soil and groundwater samples, delineating free-phase petroleum plumes, evaluating landfills and lagoons, and designing remediation strategies to economically resolve regulatory issues.
The Phase II investigations were designed, implemented and completed within an eight-week period. As a result of the Phase I and II investigations, ESI was contracted to remediate a number of refinery, distribution, and petroleum-product related facilities, and performed $15MM at guaranteed "lump-sum-to-closure" remediation projects.
Goldschmidt - Witco Oleochemical and Derivatives Group Divestiture (ODG) Project - ESI has completed the performance of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in support of Witco's sale of their ODG business to Goldschmidt Chemical Corporation. Environmental reviews were performed at facilities located in Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, Ohio, the United Kingdom, and Germany. These projects were completed within two months of authorization, and enabled the business sale to proceed on schedule.| Website designed by The Elusive Bit |
